What we check
When a placement goes live we record:
- that the page loads and what it returned
- that it is on the publisher's own domain
- that your destination URL is there as a real link
- the anchor text actually used
- the rel attributes on the link, such as sponsored, nofollow or ugc
- whether the page is marked noindex
- where the link redirects to, when that is practical to follow
These are technical observations about the page. We do not grade links, and we make no claims about traffic, rankings or SEO outcomes.
Monitoring
Every placement includes 30 days of monitoring. We re-check the page and tell both sides if the link disappears, the anchor changes, the rel changes or the page goes noindex. You can extend monitoring to 12 months for $5 per placement at checkout.
Questions buyers ask
Do I need an account to buy?
No. Add placements to a basket, enter your email and pay by card. We email you a private link for following the order, and you can create an account later if you want one.
How is the price set?
Each publisher sets their own price. LinkHonk adds 20% on top, and the price on the listing already includes it, so the number you see is the number you pay.
What happens if a publisher declines my order?
You are refunded for that placement automatically, to the card you paid with. Card refunds usually take five to ten days to appear.
What if the publisher never responds or never delivers?
Every order has a deadline. If the publisher has not accepted within 72 hours of payment, or has not delivered within their stated turnaround plus 7 days, the order is cancelled and you are refunded in full automatically. Your order page shows the deadline.
What if the link never appears, or is not what I ordered?
We fetch the live page and check the link, anchor text and attributes before the publisher is paid. If a placement cannot be verified, or an issue you raise during the 72-hour review window is upheld, you are refunded for it.
How long is my link monitored?
For 30 days, included. You can extend monitoring to 12 months for $5 per placement at checkout. We tell you if the link is removed or changed.
When does the publisher get paid?
Only after we have verified the placement on the live page and your 72-hour review window has closed.
Do you show DR, DA or traffic figures?
No. We cannot verify third-party metrics, so we do not show them. Each listing shows the website itself, its prices and its record on LinkHonk.
What will LinkHonk not sell?
Websites that exist mainly to sell links, platforms anyone can post on, and placements for gambling, pharmaceuticals, adult material or anything unlawful.
